Ethan Stanislawski is a writer, stand-up comedian, sketch comedian, character performer and storyteller currently based in Los Angeles, after spending years in New York City and another in Bloomington, Indiana. For four years he performed every month to sold-out shows at the Pack Theater in Los Angeles with his sketch comedy team Nightchurch, and has performed in multiple stand-up festivals across the country. Ethan was a writer for the 2018 CBS Diversity Showcase directed by Stephen Guarino.

Ethan was a professional music and theater critic from 2008-2013, and studied music journalism in a Masters program at the Indiana University School of Journalism. His writings have been published in the Village VoiceNPRPrefix MagazinePerfect Sound ForeverHypebotNew CityThe Chicago Maroon, and more. He has also produced multiple comedy/punk rock shows both in Brooklyn and Orange County.

Additionally, Ethan has over 8 years of experience in customer support and technical support, working for small startups, mid-level firms, and major corporations such as Hulu and FOX.

Originally from New York City, Ethan has a B.A. with honors from The University of Chicago. He lives in Los Angeles with his poodle terrier mix Penny. He is a big New York Rangers and Green Bay Packers and watches at least 5 episodes of The Simpsons per week.
