The White Stripes - Hotel Yorba (2001)
The best honky-tonk ballad of the Stripes' earlier days, when they were too fresh to be anything but fun, but still smart enough to know when to be serious. The darker elements of Jack White's country influences took over by the time Elephant hit the market, and that side has proven to be one of the most polarizing elements of the White Stripes' canon. But hell, son, it's hard to hate this song, one that's been called a barn-rattler to no end, but only because the term that applies too well for it to become a cliche. This is a country number to start a party with, not one to wind-down a career with. Lest you forget that the White Stripes can be serious and still playful, play this song real loud and just try not stomping your feet to it.
